The legendary Sportscaster George Michael passed away Thursday morning losing the fight against Cancer at the age of 70. “The George Michael Sports Machine” is what made Michael famous. Michael pioneered the way Sportscasting is done today. If you look at Sportscenter, The Score, TSN, ESPN or any other major sports news station you can bet that George Michael had an impact on them.
George Michael the Sportscaster is known for the distinct way he did the sports highlights. He never held back creating fans and enemies depending if he was criticizing your team or not. Michael retired from the sportscasting industry in 2007 and he worked for the WRC for 28 years. Michael grew up in St. Louis but ended up in Washington D.C.
George Michael Sportscaster (Sports Machine) is dead at age 70 after battling cancer for the last two years. He will be remembered for decades as on the best best sportscasters on the planet.
