Jayson Williams Car Accident DWI not Jason Williams
Jayson Williams Car Accident not Jason Williams
The former New Jersey Net NBA Star Jayson Williams not Jason Williams was in a car accident early Tuesday morning January 5th when his SUV hit a tree. Unlike Tiger Woods Jayson Williams did not have his wife chasing him with a golf club. However Jayson might be in tight with the law since many suspect he was under the influence. Reports state that Williams SUV drove off an exit ramp and hit a tree and police said that drinking may have been the cause of this car accident.
Jayson has had troubled past but his family is lucky that he left this car crash with only a fractured neck rather than Jayson Williams being dead. Our sources say that Williams is being held in the prison ward emergency room at the Bellevue Hospital in New York City. Williams was in the passenger seat when the police arrived at the scene of the accident. DWI charges are expected to be handed out later today. Witnesses told the police that Jayson Williams was in the drivers side and then moved to the passenger side. Williams played nine years in the NBA and retired in 2000. It was just last month that Williams lawyers asked to be removed from his defense in a manslaughter case from a 2002 shooting.
I say they make an example of him because if he was drinking and driving he could have killed someone else. Other sports stars better sit up and recognize that they are not above the law and justice will prevail. Are you kidding, does Jayson Williams really expect to throw the police off by jumping in the passenger side even though witnesses saw him driving.
Check out our Expert NBA Picks for Tuesday and gain insight on who will win tonight and remember it was Jayson Williams in a Car Accident and not Jason Williams who plays for the Orlando Magic.
