Warren Sapp Arrested

With the 2010 Super Bowl taking place on Sunday February 7th ex-NFL  great Warren Sapp is making headlines with his arrest for misdemeanor domestic battery. This happened in Miami Florida on the eve of the Super Bowl 44. Warren Sapp is one of the greatest defensive tackles to play the position. Since retiring from the NFL Warren Sapp was a semi-finalist in Dancing with the Stars season 7.

Warren Sapp who is 37 was arrested around 5:00 a.m Saturday morning with reports of attacking his girlfriend. This all took place at the Shore Club Hotel in Miami Florida just one day before the Super Bowl 44 is scheduled to kickoff. Sapp played his college football at the University of Miami and he was scheduled to be one of the NFL analyst on the NFL Network for Sunday’s Super Bowl coverage.

Warren Sapp was a 7-time pro bowl defensive tackle who retired in 2008 after playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders during his 13 year career. Since Warren Sapp’s Arrest he will not appear on the NFL Network until the NFL has reviewed his case. Sapp is also an analyst for “Inside the NFL” on showtime.
