Friday Night NBA All Star Celebrity Game Preview

The celebrity action in Dallas this weekend starts well before the 2010 NBA All Star Celebrity Game (Presented by Final Fantasy XIII). Starting on Thursday night, the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex will be host to numerous events and parties to kick off the festivities. It all gets started Thursday night at the Majestic Theater at 1925 Elm St. in Dallas for the All-Star Opening Night Concert. This event is going to be headlined by Mary J. The NBA All Star Celebrity Game itself takes place at the Dallas Convention Center in Dallas starting on Friday evening at 5:30 p.m. (4:30 p.m. Central) The tip-off is at 7:00 p.m. Eastern / 6:00 p.m. Central time. ESPN is to televise the NBA event for the sixth consecutive year. This year’s celebrity players include those from music, television, and film, all of whom will be attired in retro 1986 NBA All Star uniforms, in a tribute to the 1986 All Star Game, which also took place in Dallas. In addition to celebs, the game will include former NBA and current WNBA players.
