ACC Tournament 2010 Results
ACC Tournament 2010 Results
The ACC Tournament 2010 results will be completed today. This comes after a week of upsets. It seems as though Duke is the only team that has not experienced the topsy-turvy play throughout the week. They will be taking on Georgia Tech today to determine the winner of the ACC crown. Duke was able to beat Miami, which was one of the lowest seeds of the tournament and Georgia Tech barely made it past North Carolina State.
Georgia Tech is not anticipated to be able to beat the strong Duke team, but based on this past week anything is possible. Prior to the ACC Tournament 2010 Results of this week, it was not even certain if Georgia Tech would make it to the NCAA list. Now it seems as though Georgia Tech will secure a place, even if they lose today’s game. If Duke wins today, they will be trying to break into one of the four number one seeds.
Ohio State and West Virginia have had better wins this year and are hoping that they will be able to get that last number one seed. Most certainly one of these teams will get the spot if Duke should happen to lose today. The ACC Tournament 2010 Results may have some direct impact on the selection committee’s decision in determining the final seating and brackets. All of the final games will lead up to making the necessary decisions in determining if teams such as Minnesota or Mississippi State still have a shot. We can now begin to look to the journey to the Sweet Sixteen!
