The Raiders have already been convicted of being one of the NFL’s worst teams, and with Richard Seymour’s brave (or criminally stupid) statement that the Raiders will make the playoffs, Oakland may end up playing more relaxed as they have nothing to lose.

The Jets are 6-point sportsbook favorites on the road, and Sanchez is in line for a redemption game. The California native is still getting used to playing in the cold of New York, so this should boost his spirits. Meanwhile, the poor Raiders have this alleged Cable incident hanging over their head, which may take some of their momentum away, and that’s the last thing they need.
