The MMA is struggling to show the viewers what the MMA stands for. And, the brawl on Saturday with Jason Mayhem Miller did nothing to help. With any sport, the chaos can and will ensure when allowed the opportunity. In the last two weeks, the MMA Organization has found that their image has a bit of an ugly glare.
The MMA was left to apologize after last weeks main event caused a stir. The main event should have featured Abu Dhabi. However, the new investors who were on tap to see the event came away not only unhappy but embarrassed. And now, the Jason Mayhem Miller incident leaves the Strikeforce organization in a position where not only apologies will be handed down but disciplinary action could be rolled out as well.
In a post fight interview, Vince McMahon was apparently doing what most fighters do, enjoying his win and the attention of the media. Reports indicate that he was in no way out of line. However, once Jason Mayhem Miller decided to join in, the post-event interviews went from normal to chaotic in a matter of minutes.
