Seattle Mariners: Milton Bradley

Baseball was once a child’s game. And then, as with many other sports, adults got involved. By the time players like Milton Bradley make it to the big leagues, they sometimes get a bit too big for their britches. Those who lose their cool pay the price for their transgressions.

Milton Bradley is a playing a child’s game in a man’s body. However, on Tuesday he had an argument with an umpire and subsequently with his own manager. Now, his spot in the dugout is void. One can only assume at this point that he is being punished by the Mariners.

He is simply a ticking time bomb and last night his fuse was lit. The thing about acting out as he has of late is that he could very well be sent home. After all, Ryan Langerhans was sent to left field to replace him prior to him leaving the bench area completely. And, Langerhans was with the team courtesy of the release of Eric Byrnes by the Mariners.
