NBA Betting: Lakers vs Suns Game 5

The Lakers managed to scrap out a win in game 5 against the Suns. And with a score of 103-100, definitely there were some players on the court last night that were simply getting down to the nitty, gritty. This means the Lakers vs Suns Game 5 pushes the series to a Game 6 in Phoenix and possibly a Game 7 back in LA. Naturally, the Suns are favored for Game 6 and LA for Game 7.

Amazingly enough, one shot in the last second of the Lakers vs Suns Game 5 was enough to make a moderately known player a household name. This morning, those who don’t know who Ron Artest is, or who he was that is, now know that he made the game winning shot with one second left on the clock. He took a rebound off a shot that Kobe missed and managed to get it through the hoop for the win. Speaking of Kobe, he managed to score 30 points and helped out with 9 assists and 11 rebounds.

Heading back to Phoenix after the Lakers vs Suns Game 5, the advantage may shift slightly for the Suns, after all, home court advantage is suppose to mean something, but with Kobe hitting his groove, the Suns could find themselves in serious trouble. Add in Derek Fisher who had 22 points and the Suns have to get their act together.  Luckily for the Suns, Steve Nash seems to be hardly phased by the stitches and other bruises because he still managed to toss in 29 points and 11 assists in Game 5. Game 6 will be Saturday night and a Lakers win seals the deal for them, a Suns win means they head back for a Game 7 match.
