SEC Baseball Tournament 2010: LSU Baseball
The SEC baseball tournament is underway. And, the most recent news coming out of the Hoover, Alabama stadium has the LSU baseball team leading Ole Miss, 1-0 after two innings. Pitcher Ben Alsup sent the first six batters for Ole Miss back to the dugout. To help Alsup out, Mikie Mahtook and Tyler Hanover had back to back singles for LSU.
Ole Miss centerfielder mishandled the hit by Hanover allowing the two runners to move up. Then, a long fly ball was all it took to score run number one for the LSU baseball team. LSU has been a force to be reckoned with for quite some time. And, big starts like this one are the reason why other SEC teams prefer not to pull a game against them from the beginning.
Now, the SEC Baseball tournament is well underway and it’s time to find the best of the best. At this junction, there’s absolutely no where to hide. It’s absolutely imperative that anyone who lines up against the LSU baseball team bring their best game. Keep your eyes open as the teams start eliminating one another.
