College World Series 2010
College World Series 2010
Baseball players from T-ball through high school and college dream of the World Series. And, for many well-determined athletes, the College World Series 2010 could very well be a reality. And, just like college basketball, the Division 1 teams get a chance to make it to a grand finale. The number one seed going into baseball’s version of the big dance is Arizona State.
Many analyst were expecting to see Texas as the number one seed in round one. Since Texas is loaded with pitching, they are expected to show up in the College World Series 2010. However, Arizona is letting the world know that they deserve the luxury of a number one seed. The only problem facing Arizona right now is history. The number one seed hasn’t won the big prize since 1999.
The College World Series 2010 will get started on June 19th. The teams have to work through a double elimination first round and a best of three series in round two in order to move on. When the games have been played, eight teams will be sitting in the final bracket and headed to Omaha. Omaha, the place where baseball dreams come true.
