British Open 2010: All In A Day’s Work
Depending on your career path, mother nature may play a huge role in how you carry on and make yourself successful. If you are an athlete, the big outdoors can be your biggest alliance and your worst enemy all in the same day. For Phil Mickelson that’s how he has chosen to look at it as he grumbles along the way. The British Open 2010 has already seen a great day by Tiger Woods, a suspension due to rain and new leader in Louis Oosthuizen.
Oosthuizen managed to toss in a 5 under part today which leaves him sitting high and might at 12-under for the two days. The news out of South Africa for a month has been about soccer. Now, those great folks can add golf to their list of super athletes. The British Open 2010 now has a fiery South African leading the way.
Another golfer making waves yesterday was Rory McIlroy. He managed to shoot a 63 yesterday which was a tie for the best round in a major championship ever. Today, with the wind gusting and the delay, the game hasn’t come as easy for Rory. Calcavecchia played at the British Open 2010 this morning before the weather got bizarre and managed to shoot a 7 under to match up with Oosthuizen.
