2010 PGA Championship Leaderboard Final Round
2010 PGA Championship Leaderboard Final Round
The professionals at Whistling Straights have had one rough weekend. From the fog delays to darkness suspending play, the players haven’t been on any form of schedule at all. Nick Watney has led the way throughout a big part of the tournament after shooting a whopping 66 on Saturday. The highest Watney has ever finished in a major event is seventh and he has never made the cut on the PGA Championship run. The 2010 PGA Leaderboard Final Round has been a revolving door of names.
Watney’s big 66 on Saturday left him 13 under which was better than Rory McIlroy and Dustin Johnson not to mention the tournaments celebrities in Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson. On Sunday, Watney will be paired with Johnson and will trail behind McIlroy and Liang. That leaves nothing to take for granted as Liang has already shot a 64 once. The 2010 PGA Championship Leaderboard final round is underway.
While guys like Watney, McIlroy, Johnson and Liang are left to battle it out, Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods have struggled. Mickelson citing the arthritis issues as part of his problem and Tiger has been seen working on his swing repeatedly. Since the delays took the tournament off the scheduled route, the final groups hitting the course may or may not make it through before dark falls on Sunday. The 2010 PGA Championship Leaderboard final round shows the players on the top but remember, there’s a lot of golf left to play.
