Professional athletes are often known to many fans through the various leagues. NFL players tend to be some of the most recognized. Makenzie Rae Putnal is only 19 and already wears the title of “former Jacksonville Jaguars cheerleader.”
The former cheerleader and her boyfriend, Jaguars wide receiver Kasim Osgood, were attacked on Monday night. This isn’t a story of delinquents partying and running into trouble. These two were attacked inside their own home. The man who attacked Mackenzie Rae Putnal and her boyfriends claims to be a former boyfriend of Putnal’s.
The attack occurred around 11 pm ET on Monday night. The man entered their home with a gun and reports indicate that gunfire was exchanged between the gunman and Putnal. The intruder has been identified as 20 year old Julian Armond Bartleto who has since been arrested. The most unclear part of the story involving Makenzie Rae Putnal is that her boyfriend, Osgood, left through a window during the attack.
