For the Broncos, this has to be their Super Bowl. They are currently 8-6 and there are seven other teams at 7-7 just waiting for them to slip up. If they do, they will need all sorts of miraculous tiebreakers to get into the playoffs. This week in Philadelphia, the Broncos are going up against a very hot team. The Eagles have won five straight games and have been lighting up the scoreboard in the process. The Eagles haven’t scored less than 23 points in a contest in any of their last six and averaged more than 30 in that span. The Broncos can’t afford to get into a shootout – they’ll have to find a way to slow down the red hot Donovan McNabb-DeSean Jackson combo and keep this game in the teens. If they can’t, they will on the outside of the playoffs looking in during Week 17.
