2015 NFL Predictions: Baltimore Ravens Bold Predictions

When you take a look at the landscape of the AFC one has to wonder if they are as good as they have been the past half-decade? The Broncos, Colts, and Patriots are coming off as the favorites in the AFC, according to the win total predictions of the three teams, but all three have question marks unlike the Baltimore Ravens:

Ravens NFL Predictions for 2015

Can Peyton Manning continue his stellar play as Father Time catches up to him?

Are the Colts going to continue to be one of the more fortunate teams in football again this season?

And will the Patriots be able to bounce back yet again from cheating adversity?

In my honest opinion, the team with the best value in the AFC is the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens have a solid ball-control offense with Joe Flacco and Justin Forsett. They always have one of the better defenses in the NFL, and they have a very impressive front office led by Ozzie Newsome. The Ravens opened at 20/1 to win the Super Bowl, and have since dropped down to 17/1, but even at that number there is no better value.

Baltimore Ravens Offense Predictions:

The Ravens are lead by their cool, calm, and collected QB, Joe Flacco, who is the perfect fit for this team. Flacco is once again the Ravens starting QB as he has been since being drafted by the Ravens eight years ago. The Ravens are also returning Justin Forsett, who is coming off an outstanding year last season rushing for nearly 1,300 yards and eight touchdowns. Forsett and Flacco should once again have solid seasons, quite possibly eclipsing last season’s totals. Marc Trestman should have a significant impact with this unit in his first season as offensive coordinator. Trestman has an outstanding offensive mind, regardless of what many Bears fans may tell you. With Flacco’s consistency, Forsett’s play-making ability, and Trestman’s mind, the Ravens will have a sneaky good offense.

Baltimore Ravens Defense Predictions:

There aren’t many things in professional football as consistent as the Ravens defense. This is a group that year-in and year-out is a top 10 unit. Yes, the Ravens lost All-Pro Haloti Ngata to the Detroit Lions but their linebacking core is scary good. Lead by Terrell Suggs and Elvis Dumervil the Ravens will once again have one of the best pass-rushing duos in football. There is a bit of a question mark in the secondary due to depth, but injuries forced the Ravens to give players like Will Hill playing time. This was actually great for Baltimore as Hill played well and should continue to in 2015-16. The Ravens defense, similar to their offense returns many of their starters and should once again be a top group in the AFC and their entire league.

Baltimore Ravens Las Vegas Season Win Total Prediction:

The Ravens season win total currently sits at 9 games. This is a team that returns most of their players on both sides of the ball and has a somewhat fortunate schedule. The value predictions here is on the ‘over’ as I see the 2015 Baltimore Ravens finishing at worse 10-6.
