L.A. is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 October games, road games, and against teams with a winning record, 3-13-1 in their last 17 games overall, and 1-7 in their last 8 games following a loss. Their O/U trends are 5-0 in their last 5 games following an ATS loss, 6-1 in their last 7 games overall and on the grass, and 17-35-1 in their last 53 games on the road. Furthermore; the Rams stand 4-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings with Jacksonville’s Jaguars. Their opponents, the Jaguars, are 4-0 ATS against teams with a winning record, 6-2 in their last 8 overall games, 2-5 in their last 7 games at home, and 5-2 in their last 7 games at home against a team with a winning record on the road. They have O/U trends of 4-0 in their last 4 games at home, 7-1 in their last 8 games after allowing less than 90 rushing yards in the previous game, 4-1 in their last 5 games on the grass, and 6-14 in their last 20 Week 6 games.
The Rams lost their Week 5 game against Seattle 16-10 which knocks them down to 3-2 with Jared Goff connecting on 22 of 47 pass attempts for 288 yards and 2 interceptions. They outgained Seattle 241-375 and outrushed them 62-100 but lost the turnover battle 5-2. The Jaguars won their game with a 30-9 blowout victory over Pittsburgh and improved to 3-2 although Blake Bortles only connected on 8 of 14 passes for 95 yards and a touchdown. It was Leonard Fournette who carried the game, however, rushing 181 yards on 28 carries for 2 touchdowns, outrushing the Steelers 231-70 and winning the turnover battle 1-5 but being outgained by them 313-371.
Our Free NFL Pick: The upset victory that the Jaguars stole last week is definitely going to boost their confidence through the rough; especially Fournette who stole the stage that game. Both of these teams are known for racking up the points as well although, the games won by the Rams have all been over 30 points while the Jaguars won a game at 30 points and another above it, with 44 points. I suspect the points will get high in this game and the Rams have been pushing out the higher points save for last week so I’d pick them.
