Miami is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following an ATS win, 3-8 against a team with a winning record, and 10-2 in their last 12 games after allowing less than 250 total yards in the previous game. Their O/U trends are 0-5 in their last 5 games overall, 4-1 in their last 5 games following a bye-week, 11-5 in their last 16 Week 6 games, and 8-3 in their last 11 games following a win and ATS win. Furthermore; they’re also 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings with Atlanta.
Their opponents, the Atlanta Falcons, stand 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following an ATS loss, 7-3 in their last 10 games on the grass, 4-1 in their last 5 games following a bye-week, and 4-9 in their last 13 games following a loss. Their O/U is 12-1 in their last 13 games at home, 5-12-1 in their last 18 games on grass, 3-11-2 in their last 16 Week 6 games, and 8-3 in their last 11 games following a bye-week.
The Dolphins improved to 2-2 after beating Tennessee 16-10 last week with Jay Cutler now sitting down on 62.6% pass completion for 706 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions this season. Their running-game is averaging only 74.8 yards per game while their defense is allowing 322.8 yards and 16.8 points per game. Atlanta, on the other hand, took their first lost 2 weeks ago at the hands of Buffalo no less, losing the game 23-17. Matt Ryan is completing 65.2% of his passes for 1,109 yards, 5 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions thus far this season. The ground-game is averaging 125.8 yards per game while the defense is allowing 343.5 yards and 22.3 points per game.
Our Free NFL Prediction: Atlanta’s lost 2 weeks back came as a big shock to many although I’m sure the Bills were ecstatic. In truth, it was 2 late field goals by the Bills which won them the game, each from about 55 yards out. Ryan’s performance this year hasn’t been as great as last year’s and the Falcons’ defense have been failing to stop the big plays and drives from scoring points. On the other hand, the Dolphins are just barely keeping their head above the water right now but would definitely love a win here. I’ve got no doubt that the Falcons will win and cover the spread here, but I highly doubt it’ll be thanks to their defense and not Ryan making the plays.
