The Seahawks improved to 8-4 after beating Philadelphia 24-10 last Sunday with Russell Wilson completing 20 of 31 throws for 227 yards and 3 touchdowns. They were outgained 425-310 total yards and had less 1st downs with 20 conversions to the Eagles’ 25 but won the turnover battle 2-0. The Jaguars improved to 8-4 as well last Sunday after beating the Colts 30-10 with Blake Bortles going 26-35 for 309 yards and 2 touchdowns. They outgained the Colts 290-426 total yards, won the turnover battle 2-0, and dominated possession with 33:47 on the clock.
Our Free NFL Prediction: Wilson has been more or less carrying the Seahawks this season and that continues to be the case. Mike Davis did make a few key plays in the game against the Eagles, there’s no doubt, but it was still thanks to Wilson’s amazing plays, great defence, and Philadelphia’s mistakes that they won that game. RB Chris Carson also went into IR after suffering an ankle injury earlier in the season while safety Kam Chancellor is definitely out for this game. The Jaguars defense shined bright in their last game and along with Bortles having a great game, they dominated the Colts once again this season. However; with Telvin Smith still in concussion protocol and being out for this game and Patrick Omameh being out as well with a quadriceps injury, their defense will be definitely lacking here. Bortles isn’t a bad QB but I don’t expect him to play amazingly well always and against Seattle’s defense, I doubt it even less. Take Seattle.
